So this is my future home! These pictures are just to give you all an idea of what we are looking at here. With an estimated 100-150 beds, it is the largest hostel in Panama, and possibly even Costa Rica. I have been offered the job of being one of the live-in managers, along with my really good friend Meredith. I will be moving back to Panama in the beginning of January, along with my boyfriend Dain, to get things started. We are still working out the details of what kinds of services we will be able to offer, and how much we will be charging...but I do not hesitate to say that before long we will truly have the best hostel in Panama! I am looking foward to this experience as an opportunity to meet people from all around the world and assist them in finding ways to give back to the community that they are visiting. I would love any comments, ideas or feedback regarding this upcoming feat... your input is welcomed and needed! And I expect that you will all be visiting me....

Hi Wakan,

I'm the author of the Moon Handbooks guide to Panama. I'm glad Luna's Castle is finally open, and I'd like to get some details (the building was still being renovated when I was last in Panama). Please email me at wfriar@yahoo.com with your email and phone number (and delete my email from this post asap, please -- don't want spammers). The new edition of my book is going to print very soon, so I need to hear back from you as soon as you can. Thanks! -- Bill Friar
